In recent years Palace have become a retirement home for London based players whose career's are on a clear downward trajectory. Flamini, Adebayor, Chamakh to name but a few. They take a tidy wage and deliver little. Palace need to scout younger, ambitious players that they can sell on for a profit after they have proven themselves at Premier League level. Palace need two new starting full backs and a creative number 10 if they are serious about placing in the top half of the table.
