Local Source for Tickets?

I'm from the U.S. and will be in Liverpool on Oct. 17th and wanted to get tickets to the match. I know there are companies such as Stub Hub and the like selling tickets. Is there any other local type bulletin board that might have tickets available close to the day of the match? I know this is a big match with ManU, but I was hoping to not have to take out a second mortgage to find tickets. Thank you so much in advance!

Your best bet is to buy an overseas Foreverton membership from the official website, it costs around £20 and it allows you to buy tickets around 5 days before they go on general sale.

Having the membership pretty much guarantees you a ticket to the Man Utd game and its also discounted a little, don't worry about the second morgage mate.

Thanks so much for the advice. I've sent then an enquiry.

I wish the Toffees were playing Sunderland or their ilk that weekend. I'm sure it would be a lot easier to find reasonably priced tickets! ;-)

No problem, so many people are unaware that they can buy presale tickets with the Foreverton membership and they end up paying silly money on the secondary market.

Man Utd at home is always a cracking game and im gutted as it lands on the wifes birthday!
